The 20th Century Theatre in Cincinnati is a historic building that has been transformed over time into a centre for cultural and musical events. Opened as a cinema in 1941, the venue has recently been transformed to accommodate new uses, thanks to the introduction of a technological seating system that allows for a rapid and safe reconfiguration of the space.
Decima oversaw the production and installation of the Flexseat system, with retractable seats integrated into the floor.
Thanks to the collaboration with Aresline, the project contractor, the hall has taken on a new look, enriched with modern seats and innovative technology that combines aesthetics and functionality, turning it into a distinctive and versatile space.

Main characteristics
- Automated Flexseat system: allows the seats to disappear completely into the floor by means of an electromechanical system certified according to UL standards.
- Maximum flexibility of use: the room can be quickly transformed from an auditorium to an open space, adapting to different types of events.
Thanks to the collaboration between Aresline and Decima, the project was completed in a short time with a high level of technical customisation.
