The Teatro Regionale Splendor in Aosta has undergone a complete stagecraft, acoustic and architectural refurbishment, involving both the stage areas and those intended for the public and services.
The upgrade has improved the functionality and versatility of the building, integrating advanced technologies, multimedia systems and high-quality acoustic and decorative solutions.
Main characteristics:
- Upper stage machinery: Stage grid with wooden-metal slats and special blocks integrated into the cuts, 10 Liftech LT75 motorised winches for moving lighting bridges, stage equipment and scenery.
- Lower machinery: Flexstage modular platforms integrated into the stage to create variable tiers on stage, platform for the orchestra pit with Spiralift® movement for dynamic configurations, jack-operated hatch at the back of the stage for storing the acoustic shell and equipment under the stage.
- Audio-visual and lighting systems: complete systems for cinema projection, sound diffusion and simultaneous interpreting with dedicated booths. Professional stage lighting with consoles, dimmers and high-quality lighting fixtures.
- Acoustics: wooden cladding for false ceilings and walls, with sound-absorbing and sound-diffusing properties, fitted with adjustable slats on the side walls for optimal auditorium acoustics. Dedicated “Gran Teatro” acoustic shell.
- Curtains and auditorium drapes: two main curtains, one classic with a “Greek” opening and one on the proscenium with a “Roman” lifting system, complemented by auditorium drapes.
- Auditorium and ancillary area furnishings: Wooden flooring for the tiers, orchestra pit and stage, and glass and wooden parapets. “OPERA” model seats in the auditorium, ergonomic seats for ancillary rooms and workshops, removable folding chairs for the Studio Theatre. Customised furnishings for the Studio Theatre, with acoustic cladding and audio-video systems. Custom-made furnishings for lobbies, ticket offices, cloakrooms, waiting rooms, catering areas, artists’ dressing rooms, costume workshop, stage workshops and offices. Modular conference table for use in both auditoriums, complete with speaker’s podium.
