The Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires, one of Argentina’s most prestigious theatres, has undergone technical work aimed at upgrading its stage infrastructure.
Decima oversaw the supply and installation of advanced movement systems that have enabled the theatre to be equipped with modern, efficient stage machinery complying with safety standards.

Main characteristics
- Motorised fly lines: 30 Liftech LT-60-5V motorised 5-rope winches were installed, ideal for moving scenery and equipment smoothly and safely. The winches are integrated with the MC3 control console, which allows for centralised, precise and customisable control of stage movements.
- Motorised chain hoists: 10 high-reliability chain hoists were supplied, designed for lifting and moving technical and scenic elements, with high standards of safety and user-friendliness.
- Safety curtain winch: A new lowering and rising movement system for the safety curtain has been installed, with a dedicated winch, in compliance with international fire safety regulations for theatres and performance halls.
