Cinema Teatro Radar

From historic cinema to multifunctional cultural space

Projects /

Monopoli, Italy – 2016

The restoration project of the former Cinema Radar and the Albergo Savoia has transformed a historic building into a modern cultural centre, now home to the Nino Rota Conservatory. The spaces have been redesigned to accommodate an auditorium dedicated to both artistic production and educational requirements, as well as music workshops and multifunctional spaces accessible to the public.

The technological heart of the project is represented by Decima’s Flexseat system, integrated with Ares Line’s V9.Syncron seats: an innovative solution that allows a completely empty space to be transformed into a fully equipped conference room or auditorium in just a few minutes, thanks to an automated system that allows the seats to be raised and lowered.

Each tier of the auditorium houses independent modules, arranged to optimise comfort and functionality.
