Auditorium Casa Ferrero
A dynamic space for innovation and sharing
Projects /
Senningerberg, Luxembourg – 2022
Within Ferrero’s new headquarters in Luxembourg – Casa Ferrero, awarded Office Space of the Year 2021 by CBRE Luxembourg – the auditorium is one of the most emblematic spaces.
Designed by architect Paolo Maldotti of ARCHILANDstudio, the Casa Ferrero Auditorium was conceived with the aim of offering an iconic, multifunctional space capable of adapting to a wide range of uses: conferences, corporate events, workshops, exhibitions, social gatherings and international videoconferences.
To achieve this result, a multidisciplinary approach combining engineering, technological and stagecraft skills was required.
The main challenge was to create a dynamic, reconfigurable space without compromising the architectural elegance of the location and taking into account structural constraints, which did not allow for traditional concentrated load solutions.
The result is a state-of-the-art space, designed to ensure maximum flexibility of use and equipped with cutting-edge technology, with constant attention to aesthetic, acoustic and functional quality.

Main features
- Mobile tiered system with actuators: a unique engineering solution consisting of a complex system of actuators designed to distribute loads evenly. This system allows the hall to be transformed from a flat space with a slight rear elevation to a tiered configuration.
- Flexseat system: each module is equipped with a manual opening mechanism that allows the configuration of the number of seats according to the event or the complete concealment of the seats under the floor, making the space suitable for workshops, exhibitions or corporate meetings.
- Ultra-high definition LED wall: the technological heart of the room consists of a 330″ (913 x 410 cm) display with UHD-4K resolution in 16:9 format. Designed to guarantee vivid images even in brightly lit environments, such as the auditorium with its glass back wall, the LED wall accurately meets the requirement for colour fidelity in the reproduction of corporate colours.
- Professional audio system with line array: To ensure uniform sound coverage throughout the hall, even in small spaces, a compact but powerful line array system was adopted, with subwoofers integrated directly into the suspended cluster, avoiding floor clutter and optimising acoustic performance.
- Reliable and scalable digital wireless microphone system: an audio platform capable of handling both analogue and digital signals was chosen, with highly stable wireless technology in the RF spectrum. An open system, prepared for future expansion and designed for continuous use (24/7).
- Centralised and interconnected control booth: the control booth allows full control of audio-visual content and direct connection with all Ferrero locations worldwide, facilitating the management of international events with the highest quality standards.
Receiving the Honourable Mention at the Compasso d’Oro ADI 2024 for this project was an important acknowledgement for us at Decima: not only for the work we did, but also for the approach and continuous commitment we dedicate to every project.
This proves that when innovation meets craftsmanship and passion for our profession, he results are spaces that can make a difference.
