Decima was in charge of the complete restyling of the Main Lecture Hall at the Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, one of the university’s most representative spaces and a hub for academic events, international conferences and cultural events.
The project brought together cutting-edge stagecraft solutions, high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship to create a functional, elegant and acoustically efficient environment.

Main features
Serena stone cladding: installation of large panels (up to 320×150 cm) on a Honeycomb support, for an elegant and modern textured effect.
White Lasa marble flooring: laid using a floating system, with 90×90 cm slabs, combining refinement and practicality.
Bleached oak stage: construction of a 250 m² stage area, ideal for stage and musical performances.
Sound-absorbing suspended ceiling: designed with a brass/bronze supporting structure and overhead connections to improve the acoustic performance of the hall.
Padded velvet drapes: installed along the entire perimeter of the room, with sound-absorbing and decorative functions.
Wooden acoustic shell: designed to enhance sound quality during musical events or conferences.
