LiftBox

Liftbox is a lift that we have designed and custom-built for the electromechanical movement of stage decks, orchestra pit decks, decks for storing seat wagons, and decks for centre stage control booths.

The mobile frame is a prefabricated steel structure designed for rapid assembly thanks to a minimum number of welded and bolted components. It is compatible with plywood flooring and can be adapted to specific acoustic requirements where applicable.

Designed to support static and dynamic loads according to customer specifications, it guarantees:

  • Minimal deformation
  • Good silent running
  • Minimal flexing at the edges
  • Precision positioning at height

Includes, if necessary, an access hatch to the motor unit with electric interlocking. The entire structure is properly earthed to ensure maximum safety.

The position of the lifting mechanisms ensures that there is no tilting or swaying during the entire lifting travel of the platform.

The lifting mechanisms can utilise Spiralift® or Linklift actuators, powered by a centralised motor-gear unit of adequate power.

  • The lift is guided over its entire travel by sturdy guide blocks. The guides provide lateral stability to the lift throughout its entire travel without restricting vertical movement.
  • The distances between this lift and the floor are in the range of 6–10 mm. The guides ensure that the distances remain constant at all operating heights.
  • The guides are designed to withstand the static and dynamic loads generated during normal operation.
  • The loads imposed on the guides due to the failure of a single lifting mechanism are borne without permanent damage.

The following safety systems are implemented and controlled by PLC, in particular:

– Safety edges.
– Overload detection (current measurement)
– E-Stop integration.
– Interlocking device for any access hatch.
– Rotating guardrail under the stage balcony.
– Interlocking devices for any access doors.
– Possible removable guardrails.
