Multimedia and acoustic infrastructure for a versatile corporate space

The Verona headquarters of Just Italia S.p.A., a leading Swiss multinational manufacturer of natural cosmetics, includes the Just Academy: a modern training centre in Grezzana (Verona) designed by Studio Bragantini Architetti Associati.
Aimed at hosting various corporate activities, the hall is intended for:
- Professional training and refresher courses
- Meetings and conferences
- Corporate events and shows with amplified music
In this context, Decima created the multimedia infrastructure and oversaw the acoustic design, taking care of the integrated technological installation that ensures high-quality audio-video and sound comfort, coordinating both the audio-video system and the acoustics of the multipurpose hall.
Great importance was given to facilitating independent management of the spaces: the technology installed was calibrated so that it could be used by internal staff, through intuitive interfaces and simplified automation.
Main features of the project
- Audio: designed for uniform sound diffusion and effective acoustic signal management.
- Video: enables the distribution and control of visual content within the hall.
- Control: it allows management of the entire system via touchscreen or tablet interfaces, simplifying operations
- Stage lighting: focused on the stage area, with spotlights controlled by control lighting consoles or mixers to adapt to different types of events.
- Acoustics: optimisation of speech clarity and reduction of reverberation. For this purpose, absorbent and diffusing materials were used, together with geometric solutions devised to eliminate unwanted acoustic effects, such as multiple echoes and invasive reflections.
