The Palacongressi Rimini is the largest conference centre built from scratch in Italy and one of the most important in Europe. Designed by the German firm GMP, it combines environmental sustainability, versatility of use and international appeal.
Decima was commissioned to design and supply the entire stage lighting and lighting control system, working on the main halls of the structure, including the large plenary hall with over 4,700 seats.

Main features
- Stage lighting: over 150 ETC Fresnel lights (650–2,000 W), 32 ETC Revolution moving lights and 56 ETC 750 W 25/50° zoom profile spotlights, together with 10 1,200 W low-voltage profile spotlights
- Centralised lighting control: ETC Net3 system on Ethernet and DMX-512 network, with advanced diagnostics, optical interfaces, splitters and patchbays distributed throughout each room for maximum reliability
- ETC modular consoles: broad compatibility (ION, ML, Smartfade), secure management via integrated Ethernet-DMX with an audio-visual touch screen for operators and speakers
