Foundation
Decima began as a sole proprietorship called “Angelo Decima”, established by Angelo Decima.
The company began operating in the film industry, in the 1970s it branched out into the field of theatre technology and furnishings for theatres and auditoriums, both in Italy and abroad.
Expansion and Innovation
The company became Decima Srl, specialising in the design and execution of solutions for theatre, entertainment and culture, including stage machinery, lighting, acoustics, seating and curtains.
International Distribution
Internationalisation
After gaining significant experience in the 1970s with projects in emerging markets such as the Middle East and Africa, Decima strengthened its presence in international markets by expanding its commercial network.
Acquisition and Growth
Decima acquired the theatre division of Tecnologie Industriali Srl, combining expertise and knowledge, expanding its specialisations and strengthening its position in the theatre technology sector.
Decima Asia Ltd
Decima Asia Ltd was established as a subsidiary of Decima with headquarters in Hong Kong, created to support the company’s expansion into Far Eastern markets.
This new entity marked a strategic step towards strengthening Decima’s global presence, facilitating access to new opportunities and markets.
